On Thursday, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will learn who their opponents are in the group stage of the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
The draw ceremony is set to take place in Santiago, the capital of Chile.
The tournament, taking place from 27 September to 19 October, will feature 24 competing teams.
The nations will be drawn into six groups of four teams.
The Flying Eagles qualified for the competition after finishing third at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup earlier this month.
Aliyu Zubairu’s side have been placed in Pot 1 with New Zealand, France, Ukraine, Argentina, and Mexico.
