Fabio Capello, a former manager of Real Madrid and England, has supported Arsenal to defeat Paris Saint-Germain and advance to this season’s UEFA Champions League final.
Capello said that Arsenal’s current group has a lot of personality and something extra.
After defeating Real Madrid in the quarterfinal, Arsenal secured their spot in the Champions League semifinals.
PSG, on the other hand knocked out Aston Villa from the competition.
The winner between Arsenal and PSG will face the winner between Barcelona and Inter Milan in the Champions League in May.
“Arsenal have it all: quality, balance on the pitch and good physical condition, like PSG at the moment,” Capello said at the Laureus World Sports Awards while previewing the Champions League semi-final.
“From that point of view, both teams are equal.
However, I believe Arsenal now has an advantage in terms of quality and physical prowess.
Although Arsenal has a lot of personality, both teams have excellent team spirit.
They collaborate and play together. Their matches move at a very fast speed.
“I think Arsenal will be the better team if I had to wager,” he continued, “but it will be a very good match.”
