UEL final: Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah respond to Tottenham’s victory over Man United and trophy win

Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah have responded to Tottenham’s victory in the Europa League.

Harry Kane departed Tottenham Hotspur a few seasons ago to join Bayern Munich, and he has now clinched the Bundesliga title with the German club this season.

His old team has now triumphed in the second-tier European championship.

It took Tottenham seventeen years to win a major trophy, and they achieved this by defeating Premier League rivals Manchester United 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League final at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao.

Der Treffer von Brenman Johnson in der 42. Minute war alles, was die Nordlondoner benötigten, um einen europäischen Titel zu gewinnen – ihren ersten seit 1984.

Manchester United and Tottenham entered the final in 16th and 17th place in the Premier League table, respectively, after a disappointing season up to that point.

However, Tottenham’s season now seems more positive as they have secured their third Europa League trophy and a place in next season’s Champions League.

Kane extended his congratulations to his former club by posting on X:

“Well done @SpursOfficial .”

Darüber hinaus lobte der Liverpooler Flügelspieler Salah den Trainer des Nord-Londoner Klubs, Ange Postecoglou.

He noted: “He did say he’d win in his second season. “Well done!”
