Captain of the Super Eagles, Ahmed Musa, has called on Nigerians to keep backing Eric Chelle’s squad as they gear up for a Unity Cup match against Ghana on Wednesday in London.
The game will be held at the Gtech Community Stadium located in Brentford, UK.
“Yeah, we know that many Nigerians are, I would say, quite disappointed in the Super Eagles,” Musa told the media team of the Super Eagles in London.
But I will always call on them to just keep on supporting us because that is what we need right now.
“Their support will have a very big impact on us.”
Musa is currently a player for Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The 32-year-old player is returning to the national team after a long absence.
“Yeah, for me, I’m always happy to get a call-up,” the former Leicester City star added.
