The WAFU B Women’s Champions League final will pit Nigerian champions Bayelsa Queens against ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire, according to the DAILY POST.
Following victories in their respective semi-final matches on Tuesday, the two teams secured their places in the championship match.
After a fiercely contested match, Bayelsa Queens narrowly defeated USFA of Burkina Faso 2-1.
Comfort Yeboah gave USFA the lead in the second minute.
However, Bayelsa Queens rallied with goals from Seimeyeha Akekoromowei and Emem Essien.
In the other semi-final, ASEC Mimosas defeated the Police Ladies of Ghana 4-1.
Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yammosoukro will host the final on Friday.
