Nyesome Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has committed to building ten schools in the capital.
During a media meeting on Monday, he made this commitment.
He said he will give the mandate secretary of education instructions to begin school development in the FCT’s rural areas.
I’ll inform the mandate secretary to draw up the plan as I leave here, having promised ten schools. “It will take place in rural areas,” he said.
This coincides with a report claiming that Wike prioritized the FCT’s infrastructure development over other areas.
It is not feasible to develop every sector in less than two years, Wike added.
