Wike mocks critics of the Rivers election, saying, “I influenced my LG, PDP won.”

Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), made fun of his detractors on Monday for the results of the Rivers State local government election.

Wike claimed that, in contrast to his detractors, he had an impact on the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) victory in the election in his local government (Obi Akpor).

Wike said that some people are upset that he didn’t have an impact in other areas during the election during his monthly media chat in Abuja.

“So, Wike is very popular today. Aren’t the same people I hear in Arise, AIT, and Channels looking at him? Wike can’t say he’s going to influence what happens in others; he can only influence what happens in his local government,” he said.

“I have decided that I am a member of the PDP and have won in my local government.”

“I have campaigned and influenced my people to vote for the PDP, and they have done so. You blow hot and cold.”
