Prior to the general elections in 2027, the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, has urged Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi to join the party, stating that it is confident in his ability to provide effective representation.
During a weekend courtesy visit, ADC stakeholders from Okpokwu Local Government Area made the call and promised to mobilize the community in support of Ejembi’s candidacy to represent the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadigbo Federal Constituency.
The Edumoga Ehaja Central Working Committee Chairman, Hon. Peter Abba, who led the delegation, stated that the party’s principles coincide with Ejembi’s vision.
He was accompanied by Hon. Clement Agada, Hon. Peter Abraham Oko, Hon. Emmanuel Ape, and Elder Mathias Oche.
According to the group, Ejembi is a capable leader who prioritizes people and can effectively represent the constituency’s interests in the National Assembly.
In response, Ejembi called the visit a great honor and thanked the ADC team for the demonstration of confidence. He reiterated that, should he be elected, he would put his constituents’ needs first.
“Building a constituency where the welfare of the people is the highest priority is my straightforward political mission,” Ejembi stated.
This comes days after the ADC declared that over 10,000 members from the APC, PDP, SDP, and other parties had defected to its ranks in the Agatu Local Government Area, as BASEMEDIA remembers.
