At a flag-off event in Oyo town marking a tour of the state’s 14 federal constituencies, party chieftains announced they have resolved internal disputes to focus on the President’s re-election. Folarin emphasized that all personal political ambitions have been sidelined in favor of party unity and grassroots mobilization across all 33 local government areas. He highlighted that while the President performed strongly in the state in 2023, the party aims to increase his vote count by at least 35% in the next cycle. Other notable attendees, including several senators and the state party chairman, echoed this call for peace and cohesion, with Mrs. Ajimobi describing the initiative as a vital platform for strengthening the party’s discipline and collective focus.
