On Monday, Nigerian music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia formally presented his fiancée, Honourable Natasha Osawaru, to his local community and the Idoma traditional council.
The introduction was given at the Och’Idoma Palace in Otukpo during the Idoma Nation Peace and Unity Symposium.
2Baba introduced Osawaru, the former Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, to His Royal Majesty, the Och’Idoma V, and gathered kinsmen while wearing traditional Idoma clothing.
2Baba and Osawaru traveled to Okpokwu, his ancestral home in Benue State, after the palace ceremony. There, he reaffirmed his commitment and sought family support by introducing her to local elders and community members.
This public debut comes soon after 2Baba announced his divorce from wife Annie Idibia and made a recent proposal to Osawaru.
2Baba declared his plan to wed Osawaru in a widely shared video, calling her a “young, brilliant, and amazing woman.”
