30 Nations Will Attend the Agric Summit at Sterling Bank

The 8th edition of the Agriculture Summit Africa (ASA) 2025, organized by Sterling Bank, is expected to bring together no fewer than 30 nations. The summit’s topic this year is “Survival of the Greenest: Reclaiming Africa’s Food Destiny,” and it will take place in Abuja from November 6–7, 2025. Policymakers, agribusiness executives, investors, and innovators from all around Africa and beyond are also present at the conference to discuss creative ways to address the continent’s agricultural problems. Abubakar Suleiman, Managing Director of Sterling Bank, spoke prior to the conference and emphasized the bank’s goal of studying how climate-smart practices, digital tools, and green finance might make Africa the next agricultural powerhouse in the world. At Sterling, we think that purposeful, teamwork, rather than luck, will secure Africa’s food future. Our dedication stems from our belief that agriculture is essential to Africa’s social, economic, and environmental transformation. “ASA 2025 is a platform that has sparked this change by bringing together investors, innovators, and policymakers around a common objective: reclaiming Africa’s food destiny through innovation and sustainability,” he said. With more than 60% of the world’s uncultivated arable land and a rapidly expanding population, he continued, Africa has enormous potential to become a worldwide agricultural powerhouse.
