The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been placed in Group F alongside Colombia, Saudi Arabia, and Norway for the upcoming 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup
On Friday morning, a draw ceremony was held in Santiago, Chile.
For the draw, the Flying Eagles were assigned to Pot 2.
The two leading teams in the group will advance to the Round of 16.
Nigeria, who have been finalists twice, secured their place in the World Cup by coming in third at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt earlier this month.
Morocco, Egypt and South Africa are the other African nations that will compete in the tournament.
From 27 September to 19 October in 2025, Chile will be the host of the biennial competition.
