EPL: Opening day schedule for 2026–2027 [Complete list]

The schedule for the 2026–2027 season was released by the Premier League on Friday.

Arsenal, the reigning champions, will start their championship defence at home against Frank Lampard’s newly promoted Coventry City.

Manchester United is away to newly promoted Hull City, while Chelsea takes on Fulham in a West London Derby. Manchester City, who finished behind the Gunners, will visit Bournemouth, who halted their title chase last season.

On August 22, 2026, the new Premier League season will begin.

There will be five midweek match rounds and 33 weekends in the 2026–2027 season.

FIXTURES FOR OPENING DAY:

Coventry City vs. Arsenal on Friday, August 21 at 8 p.m.

Manchester United vs. Hull City on Saturday, August 22 at 12:30 p.m.

Crystal Palace vs. Everton on Saturday, August 22 at 3 p.m.

Sunderland vs. Ipswich Town on Saturday, August 22 at 3 p.m.

Leeds United vs. Nottingham Forest on Saturday, August 22 at 3 p.m.; Brentford vs. Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, August 22 at 5.30 p.m.; Brighton vs. Aston Villa on Sunday, August 23 at 2 p.m.; Manchester City vs. Bournemouth on Sunday, August 23 at 2 p.m.; Newcastle United vs. Liverpool on Sunday, August 23 at 4.30 p.m.; and Fulham vs. Chelsea on Monday, August 24 at 8 p.m..
