As reported by AS, Chelsea are eager to compete with Arsenal for the signing of Real Madrid winger Rodrygo this summer for their manager Enzo Maresca.
This follows Chelsea’s agreement to acquire Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.
Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid is uncertain, as Spanish reports suggest the 24-year-old has become dissatisfied with his role at the LaLiga powerhouse.
The former Santos player could still leave Santiago Bernabeu this summer.
Rodrygo is still awaiting talks with the club’s new manager Xabi Alonso to discuss his role in his squad going forward.
The Brazilian international could be available for £67million this summer transfer window.
Rodrygo has several clubs interested in him from the Premier League, especially Chelsea and Arsenal.
