Reports indicate that Hull City is close to signing Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi.
After departing from West Bromwich Albion, a team in the Sky Bet Championship, Ajayi is now a free agent.
The Baggies did not renew his contract, ending his six-year tenure with the club. The centre-back dealt with a persistent hamstring injury last season, limiting him to 15 appearances for the Baggies.
According to the Hull Daily Mail, Hull City is eager to bolster their defense with a seasoned center-back and believes Ajayi would be a valuable addition.
Ajayi played 177 matches for Albion, scoring 13 times and providing three assists.
