Kevin Ugwuoke, who serves as the Chief Risk Officer and Executive Director of Fidelity Bank Plc, has officially taken on the role of President at the Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria (CRMI). His agenda prioritizes policy advocacy, ethical standards, and digital innovation to enhance risk governance across various sectors in Nigeria.
During the presidential handover ceremony in Lagos over the weekend, Ugwuoke—who is also the acting president of the Federation of African Risk Management Associations (FARMA)—characterized his ascension as “a call to action.” He committed to reestablishing CRMI as a thought leader and an institutional partner in discussions about Nigeria’s national development.
