Yesterday, the Lagos State Sports Trust Fund (LSSTF) provided sports equipment to 1,664 public schools spanning the six educational districts.
The distributed equipment comprised table tennis boards, running vests and pants, spike shoes, footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, chess sets with clocks, scrabble boards with dictionaries, draught boards, tennis rackets, and well-stocked first aid kits.
Ayo, ludo, tennis rackets, dart boards, and skipping ropes were among the other distributed equipment. The tutor-generals and permanent secretaries representing the six educational districts in Lagos were given these items.
A detailed analysis revealed that this initiative benefited a total of 1,020 primary schools and 644 secondary schools across the six educational districts and 20 Local Government Education Authorities.
