Real Madrid attacker, Gonzalo Garcia has named Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo as his football idol.
Garcia spoke after leading Real Madrid to beat Juventus 1-0 in the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16 tie on Tuesday night.
Recall that a second half goal from the 21-year-old attacker ensured Xabi Alonso’s side defeated the Serie A giants.
Borussia Dortmund will now play Real Madrid in the quarterfinals.
“I’ve always said that my idol is Cristiano Ronaldo,” Garcia stated in the post-match interview.
“Throughout my career, I have had a number of role models, but if I had to pick just one, Cristiano would be it. Always.
Ronaldo, 40, is a member of the Saudi Pro League’s Al Nassr team.
