Chukwuemeka Eze: Amaechi’s political rivals are in disarray over their coalition participation.

Chibuike Amaechi’s significant position in the coalition movement has left his political opponents in disarray, according to Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, the former national publicity secretary of the now-defunct New Peoples Democratic Party, or nPDP.

Eze’s assertion coincided with the coalition’s efforts to become a political party.

With former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at its helm, the coalition seeks to unseat President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

According to Eze, Amaechi’s withdrawal from politics following what he called the dollarized APC presidential primaries that resulted in Tinubu being a contender showed that he was a man who truly believed in and supported democracy.

Eze stated in a statement on Tuesday that “Amaechi’s participation in the coalition movement is currently causing rubble in the camp of political adversaries who feel threatened by his network of influence in the political playground.”

Some of the vacillating, armchair political jobbers who previously disparaged and denigrated Amaechi have now adopted a new tactic.

They no longer dispute his applicability this time; instead, they hope he fails.

Some boast that they have faith in the president’s ability to use federal power to sabotage the alliance and limit the political association’s chances of winning in 2027.

“Amaechi’s opponents are already threatening to use fire and brimstone; if he were to emerge, they would stop at nothing, both politically and humanly, to prevent him from overthrowing Tinubu.”
