According to the federal government, it would work with the state government of Kaduna to establish light rail projects throughout the state.
When Senator Uba Sani, the governor of Kaduna State, led a team to the ministry to request backing for the project, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, the minister of transportation, made this announcement.
