The Kano State Ministry of Education has officially denied a viral social media report claiming the state government has commenced the recruitment of 3,917 teachers.
In a statement signed by the Director of Public Enlightenment, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, the ministry labeled the claim as “false, misleading, and without basis,” urging the public to ignore it entirely.
Kiru clarified that the ministry has not made any official announcement or initiated any teacher recruitment program under the name being circulated. He advised the public to rely exclusively on the verified and official communication channels of the state government for sensitive information regarding employment and recruitment, and warned against the dissemination of unverified reports that could cause confusion.
