According to La Gazetta dello Sport, Serie A powerhouse AC Milan has begun negotiations with Victor Boniface, a striker for Bayer Leverkusen. The Rooseneri thought they could acquire Boniface for a reasonable price, but they are also interested in Dusan Vlahovic.
Boniface scored 11 goals in 27 games across all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen last season, including a goal against Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
This summer, the 24-year-old is open to leaving Die Werkself.
In 2023, he left Union Saint-Gillloise, a Belgian Pro League team, to join Leverkusen.
The striker’s contract with Erik ten Hag’s team is set to expire in three years.
