Ola Aina has expressed his happiness upon signing a contract extension with Nottingham Forest, a Premier League team.
On Monday, the Tricky Trees revealed that the Nigerian international has signed a three-year contract that would keep him at the City Ground until 2028. He has already been registered, scored twice, and helped Nuno Espirito Santo’s team finish in seventh place last season.
Throughout most of the campaign, the 28-year-old was primarily used as a right back.
In addition to winning Player of the Month, the defender also earned Goal of the Month.
I’m ecstatic and eager to continue this adventure with the Club. Since I joined, it has always seemed like home, and I’m glad to be here. My current priorities are getting back to work and getting ready for the upcoming season,” he stated on the club’s official website.
Two years ago, Aina transferred for free to Forest.
He has played for the Reds in 59 appearances in all competitions.
