Paul Parker, a former Manchester United player, has instructed the team to use Ollie Watkins in place of Rasmus Hojlund.
Parker does not want Hojlund to stay at Old Trafford past
this summer since Watkins is being linked to the Red Devils.
After a lackluster 2024–25 season, he thinks the England striker might give Ruben Amorim’s team greater firepower.
When asked if he wants the Red Devils to sign Watkins, Parker gave a response to Goal.
“Yes, I would have to say. “I find it odd that players at Aston Villa are playing in front of him, and he’s honest and a workaholic,” he said to Goal.
He pointed out that the England international is really strong in the air in addition to running the lines.
After spending £72 million to join Manchester United from Atalanta in 2023, Hojlund had a memorable season.
If Hojlund, who is desired by multiple Italian clubs, departs, the Red Devils are reportedly interested in signing the Aston Villa striker.
