Ahmed Musa, the Super Eagles’ current captain and recently hired general manager of Kano Pillars, has announced a nine-point plan to bring the team back to its previous glory.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday at the team’s Kano home field, Musa emphasized the value of sponsorship and support, cautioning that without both, the team would keep struggling.
“We are going for the trophy this time around,” he said, assuring supporters that steps were already being taken to prevent a recurrence of the mistakes made the previous season.
I bring with me a nine-point plan to bring the club back to its former glory. I thus implore Kano sports fans to lend us their full support. “I swear to do everything in my power to bring the club back to life,” he stated.
Musa acknowledged that the post would be difficult because it would require him to be both the general manager and an active participant. “I’ll offer each participant the opportunity to fully participate. And we don’t have to rely on the government thanks to our supporters. We will have to do what it takes with the mandour jersey.
The club’s internet presence has significantly improved, he said, adding that the increased social media engagement since last week was a much-needed development. He was hopeful that there would be major advancements soon.
