On Tuesday, July 15, the remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari will reach Katsina State by noon, in preparation for his funeral, which is set for 2:00 p.m. that same day in Daura.
Following talks with Buhari’s family and close associates in London, where the former president died away, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda made the announcement during a media briefing in Katsina on Monday.
According to the governor, Islamic customs would be followed during the funeral.
He also offered President Bola Ahmed Tinubu his sympathies.
