Tarnum Dooshima has been awarded Bayelsa Queens’ Most Valuable Player for the 2024–25 season of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
With four goals from Dooshima, the Prosperity Girls clinched the title.
During a team-honoring dinner in Yenagoa, she received the award.
Alaba Olabiyi, the top scorer for Bayelsa Queens with six goals, received the Best Striker award.
The awards for Best Goalkeeper and Best Defender were given to Monle Omini and Jennifer Oliver, respectively.
