Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, better known by his stage as Seyi Law, has stated that he has no regrets despite the fact that his backing of President Bola Tinubu has caused him to lose the favor and contempt of some Nigerians.
According to Naija News, Seyilaw, one of the celebrities who endorsed President Bola Tinubu in the run-up to the 2023 presidential election, stated in a recent Teju Babyface podcast that the former Lagos governor is still the most qualified candidate for the position despite the present difficulties and instability.
According to the comedian, if President Tinubu is unable to transform the country, then no politician can do it, including the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi.
Seyi Law insisted that, based on their respective records, which he was aware of, neither Atiku nor Peter Obi would have done better had either won.
He went on to say that he would be considerably more content when his kids benefited from President Tinubu’s policies in the future.
“Some Nigerians despise me for backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he stated. My shows are no longer even supported by them. Even if you don’t agree with me now, I hope to reach 70 and 80 years old and see my kids reap the rewards of my sacrifices.
I tell you honestly, without emotion, that no politician in Nigeria today is capable of turning the country around if Bola Ahmed Tinubu is unable to. Not at all. Not Peter Obi, not Atiku. Not with everything I know about them.
