Aderemi Oseni, a representative of the Ido/Ibarapa East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has given 5,206 sacks of fertilizer to farmers in his district.
Oseni said fertilizer serves a wider purpose in the pursuit of agricultural wealth since a seed planted now would bloom into a bountiful harvest tomorrow. He made this statement while distributing the fertilizers at his Constituency Office in Ologuneru in Ibadan, Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, on Tuesday.
“This historic empowerment program aims to increase productivity for farmers, ensuring a plentiful harvest that not only enhances personal wealth but also contributes to national food security,” stated the chairman of the House Committee on Federal Road Maintainance Agency.
“One of President Bola Tinubu’s top priorities has been food security, which we will all continue to support to the best of our abilities.
“We are uniting to accelerate our seed while ensuring that our families continue to be nourished and supported, despite the current economic challenges and the spike in food prices.”
He said that his empowerment program was in line with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope and Economic Rebirth Agenda, which aims to bring stability and a sense of purpose back to the country following recent difficulties.
