Breaking: Rep. Wole Oke of Osun leaves the PDP

Oluwole Oke, a representative in the House of Representatives, has left the People’s Democratic Party.

Oke, a six-term legislator from Osun State’s Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, said he spoke with his friends, family, and political acquaintances before deciding to leave the PDP.

PUNCH Online was able to view his letter of resignation, dated April 16, 2025, which was sent to the PDP Chairman in Ward 7 of Osun State’s Obokun Local Government Area.

In a quick phone interview on Wednesday, Oke also gave our correspondent confirmation of his resignation.

He declared, “I have resigned from the PDP.”

Even though he advised his fans and faithful to abandon the PDP and wait for his next move, the legislator did not reveal his next political move.
