Frontline sociopolitical activist Aisha Yesufu has responded to Rivers State’s resolved political crisis.
Yesufu revealed that Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara’s new master is President Bola Tinubu.
Remember how Tinubu suspended Fubara six months ago after a political dispute with Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory?
In addition, the president appointed a single administrator and declared an emergency in Rivers State.
The president lifted the state of emergency and reinstated Fubara last week.
Both Wike and Fubara claimed that their differences had been settled and that the state was once again at peace after he was reinstated.
Fubara and Tinubu had a private meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.
Yesufu wrote in a post, X: “Wike gave Tinubu direct control of Rivers State!” A new master was given to Fubara.
