The winners of the fourth Heirs Insurance Essay Championship, a national contest encouraging academic excellence and financial awareness among secondary school students and teachers, have been revealed by Heirs Insurance Group, Nigeria’s fastest-growing insurance company. Over 5,000 junior secondary school kids nationally entered the grand finale, which was held in Abuja. “The Role of Insurance in Keeping Families Safe and Secure” served as its central theme13-year-old Rhema-Love Abraham of Precepts Learning Field in Lagos won the N5 million scholarship and the N1 million grant for her school following a thorough review procedure by a panel of academic experts that was independently confirmed by Deloitte & Touche. Afopefoluwa Tofio-Jacobs of D-IVY College in Ogun State came in third with a ₦1 million scholarship, while Bernice Michael of S-TEE High School in Lagos earned second with a ₦2 million scholarship.
