Nigeria will be represented by 17 athletes at the 2025 World Athletics Relays, DAILY POST reports.
The competition will hold in Guangzhou, China next month.
The squad includes eight male and nine female athletes.
Nigeria’s team will take part in the men’s and women’s 4x100m events, along with the mixed 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
The men’s 4x100m will feature competitors Favour Ashe, Alaba Akintola, Karlington Anunagba, Udodi Onwuzurike, Fola Olaoye, and Usheoritse Itsekiri.
The women’s 4x100m team includes Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma, Tobi Amusan, Umukoro Success, Tiana Eyakpobeyan, and Jennifer Chukwuka.
Nigeria’s representatives in the mixed 4x100m relay are six athletes: Rosemary Chukwuma, Favour Ofili, Umukoro Success, Favour Ashe, Alaba Akintola, and Udodi Onwuzurike.
The mixed 4x400m relay will feature competitors Patience Okon George, Omolara Ogunmakinju, Chidi Okezie, Samson Nathaniel, and Emmanuel Ojeli.
