In order to contain Victor Osimhen during their 2026 World Cup qualifying playoff, Gabon’s coach, Thierry Mouyouma, has stated that he is developing a unique tactical strategy. He characterized the Galatasaray striker as erratic. Due to physical issues, Osimhen only played in five games during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
