The 2025 National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST), which is scheduled to take place in Enugu State from November 22 to 29, is expected to be a historic event that would revolutionize the country’s cultural landscape. Obi Asika, Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), outlined the festival’s attributes and emphasized its importance as a forum for national unity as well as a cultural showcase.The historic inclusion of the Northern Durbar in the Southeast for the first time is in the forefront of this year’s developments. According to a release, the festival’s opening ceremony will feature the famous parade of horsemanship, ornate regalia, and music thanks to a partnership between the governor of Katsina State and Enugu.
