The Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Akinwunmi Fasakin, announced the appointment of Superintendent Route Command Afolabi Odunsi-Oyewole as the new Public Education Officer for the command on Tuesday.
Odunsi-Oyewole replaces the former Public Education Officer, Florence Okpe, who died on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, after a long illness.
In a signed statement, the Sector Commander described Odunsi-Oyewole, who is from Lagos State and holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Psychology, as a “seasoned officer” who has served in various FRSC formations.
Fasakin reaffirmed the command’s commitment to ensuring the safety of all road users and urged the public to cooperate with and assist the newly appointed spokesperson.
