Edna Imade, a loanee from Bayern Munich, will no longer represent Morocco or Nigeria. This is because on Friday, during the first leg of the UEFA Women’s Nations League final, the player made her competitive debut for Spain. Imade was born in Morocco to a Nigerian mother, but she ultimately decided to pursue an international career with La Roja when Spain called. The forward received his first call-up from Spain’s coach, Sonia Bermúdez, for the two-leg Nations League final against Germany. Any chances of playing for Nigeria or Morocco were dashed when she entered the game against Germany in the 85th minute to replace Esther Gonzalez.
