Lagos State University has released “LASU Talkspace,” a state-of-the-art application intended to support online seminars, meetings, and conferences.
The university’s Directorate of Information and Communication Technology, led by Prof. Toyin Enikuomehin, created the ground-breaking platform with the goal of offering a dependable and safe substitute for well-known virtual conference platforms like Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.
The university community and the general public can now utilize the LASU Talkspace App, which was approved by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, according to a statement released by DICT.
Staff members can use their valid LASU staff email address to use the platform for free.
The LASU Talkspace App is also available to the general public by subscribing to the service and paying the requisite cost, which varies according on the type of services needed.
The launch of LASU Talkspace, it said, demonstrated the university’s dedication to embracing technology and creating a more cohesive and cooperative community.
