Shehu Sani, who previously represented Kaduna Central in the Senate, has expressed his approval regarding the release of eleven Nigerian Air Force members and their aircraft from Burkina Faso. In a statement shared on his verified social media account, Sani praised the diplomatic efforts of the Foreign Affairs Minister for successfully securing the return of the personnel from the Ibrahim Traore-led administration. He emphasized that African nations should view one another as kin rather than allowing themselves to be manipulated by foreign imperialist interests focused on the continent’s natural resources. Sani warned that internal conflicts between African states only serve to make their assets more vulnerable to external exploitation, urging a commitment to continental brotherhood instead.
