Intercontinental Schools has awarded Smartgenix Aeromonitor Ltd., a Nigerian company based in Darul Noor, the title of 2025 Africa Company of the Year (ACOY) coupled with a $3,000 cash reward. Additionally, the team won the Public Choice Award, which highlighted their outstanding innovation on the continental arena and received votes from Nigerians both domestically and internationally. Africa’s best young entrepreneurs who perform well in national contests participate in a number of categories in the annual JA Africa Company of the Year Competition. The focus for this year was ACT: Action for Climate Transformation, which pushed participants to come up with solutions for social, economic, and environmental problems in their local areas.
