Three suspects have been taken into custody by Adamawa State police, including a son who allegedly plotted with criminals to abduct his father in the state’s Fufore Local Government Area. In a statement released on Tuesday, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the Command’s spokesperson, revealed that the arrest was the result of intelligence-led operations conducted in coordination with local security organizations. According to Nguroje, a report on the kidnapping of Alhaji Ahmadu in Malabu town was filed on January 30, 2026.He said that Lawali Haruna (45), Yahaya Ibrahim (25), and Da’u Alhaji Ahmadu (28), who lived in Jera village in Fufore LGA, were arrested as a result of the operation.
