According to the DAILY POST, Cape Verde has withdrawn from the planned international friendly matches against the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
The two games were set to take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Wednesday, April 15, and Saturday, April 18.
The Nigeria Football Federation, or NFF, is reportedly rushing to find the Super Falcons a new opponent.
However, NFF’s hopes of obtaining a late replacement could be ruined by the short notice.
