Kabiru Gaya, a former governor of Kano State and a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), claims that the current All Progressives Congress (APC) is afraid of the ADC.
Waya made this statement on Wednesday while responding to inquiries during a DAILY POST-monitored interview on Arise Television.
According to him, the ruling party is working against the ADC in the same manner that it destroyed the PDP, the Peoples Democratic Party, and other political parties.
Additionally, the former governor of Kano charged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with being truthful, sincere, and able to cooperate with all parties, emphasizing that it must be impartial rather than biased.
“I am aware that the big party is putting a lot of effort into opposing us. Since they had destroyed the PDP and other parties, they were before completely unconcerned. However, they were unaware of the impending ADC.
“The ADC members are fully dedicated to ensuring the party’s success. Despite the numerous obstacles we have faced, we are trying our hardest. We think some of us are seasoned politicians, and we’ve overcome those obstacles,” he stated.
