Galatasaray overcame Fenerbahçe, their rivals in Istanbul, 3-0 at RAMs Park on Sunday thanks to a goal from Victor Osimhen.
Talisca’s attempt to give Fenerbahçe the lead in the eleventh minute was unsuccessful.
Five minutes before halftime, Osimhen’s cool finish gave Galatasaray the lead.
It was the 13th league goal of the season for the Nigerian international.
In the 53rd minute, the striker’s goal was disallowed due to offside.
In the 67th minute, Baris Yilmaz scored Galatasaray’s second goal from the penalty spot.
Seven minutes from time, Lucas Torreira added the third goal.
After the victory, Okan Buruk’s team now leads the standings by seven points.
