NPFL: Players of the Niger Tornadoes are given money to defeat Kwara United

The Niger Tornadoes will get a N2 million incentive from the Niger State government before to their matchday 36 matchup with Kwara United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The statement was made in Minna on Thursday by Danjuma Abdul Masu, the chairman of the state Sports Commission.

On Sunday, Niger Tornadoes and Kwara United will play at Minna’s Bako Kontagora Stadium.

AbdulMasu promised to pay the players N100,000 for each goal or assist, the technical team N500,000, and the support personnel N100,000.

According to him, the goal of the incentive is to encourage players to strive for game win.

With 43 points, the Niger Tornadoes are three points outside of the relegation zone in 14th place.
