Despite a 3-0 thumping of Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has declared that the Premier League title chase is beyond their control.
Savinho, Omar Marmoush, and Antoine Semenyo all scored as City closed the gap on Arsenal to two points.
Guardiola’s team will play Bournemouth and Aston Villa, while the Gunners will play Burnley and Palace. Both teams now have two games left.
“Depends on them [Arsenal],” he said in response to a question regarding the title race.
“They have nothing to do or say if they win two games.
“We can just be there in case. The previous two games are difficult.
On Saturday, City will play Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
