Following the successful conclusion of the 2026 Chery Global Summit and the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition in China, Carloha Nigeria, the authorized dealer of Chery vehicles in Nigeria, has reiterated its commitment to providing safer, smarter, and family-focused mobility solutions to Nigerian consumers.
At the occasion, where Chery showcased new safety technologies, intelligent mobility innovations, and its future product orientation targeted at expanding its position in global automotive markets, the Nigerian delegation joined international distributors, automotive partners, and industry stakeholders.
The introduction of Chery’s new global brand philosophy, “For Family,” which the company claims represents a strategic shift from traditional automobile manufacturing toward mobility solutions centered on safety, comfort, innovation, and practical transportation for modern families, was one of the summit’s main highlights.
The world premiere of the brand-new Chery TIGGO V, which garnered a lot of attention for its cutting-edge safety engineering and intelligent driving features, was one of the exhibition’s highlights.
The car’s body is composed of 76% high-strength steel and aluminum, and it has advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), intelligent emergency braking systems, battery protection technologies, and a number of active and passive safety systems that increase driver confidence and passenger safety.
Speaking about the exhibition’s importance, Sola Adigun, Managing Director of Carloha Nigeria, stated that it strengthened trust in Chery’s long-term goals for the automotive markets in Nigeria and Africa.
He claims that Nigerian buyers are becoming more and more demanding of globally competitive automobiles that have cutting-edge safety features, fuel economy, contemporary styling, and superior comfort.
According to Adigun, “Nigerian customers are increasingly demanding globally competitive vehicles equipped with premium comfort, fuel efficiency, intelligent safety technologies, and modern designs, all of which were prominently demonstrated throughout the Chery showcase in Beijing.”
In addition to automotive advances, Chery demonstrated its growing technological ecosystem with its AiMOGA Robotics range, which includes the intelligent robotic dog “Argos” and the humanoid robot “Mornine.”
The innovations, which were driven by autonomous driving perception systems, solid-state battery technologies, and vehicle-robot collaboration systems, showed the company’s desire to go beyond the production of automobiles to include intelligent living and future mobility solutions.
Over 4,000 foreign business visitors and stakeholders attended the Chery exhibition booth, which became one of the main draws at Auto China 2026. During the event, they took part in business meetings, technological exchanges, and partnership negotiations.
Automotive experts and industry watchers praised Chery’s safety-focused product strategy, production standards, and investment in intelligent mobility technology during the showcase, which also garnered significant international media coverage.
According to Felix Mahan, General Manager of Carloha Nigeria, the display is a powerful illustration of Chery’s dedication to intelligent transportation technologies and future mobility innovation.
He claims that Carloha Nigeria is still committed to using the Chery brand to bring globally competitive automotive solutions closer to Nigerian consumers.
Through the Chery brand, Carloha is still dedicated to bringing top-notch automotive innovation closer to Nigerian consumers. “Safety, technology, comfort, and sustainability will continue to be the driving forces behind mobility in Nigeria in the future,” he stated.
Mahan also emphasized the company’s CarlohaCare 6-6-7 aftersales program, which he claimed was created to enhance the experience of car ownership by making maintenance and aftersales assistance simpler, more accessible, and more economical for clients throughout Nigeria.
Additionally, he gave clients the assurance that they will always have access to globally recognized automobiles made to satisfy the changing needs of Nigerian families and businesses in terms of transportation and lifestyle.
