As he gets about to depart Benfica, Jose Mourinho has completed a definitive deal with Real Madrid.
Prior to the 2026–2027 season, the 63-year-old will return to the Bernabeu as their next manager.
Mourinho will sign a two-year contract with a one-year extension option.
On Monday morning, football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano made this revelation.
“José Mourinho back to Real Madrid, HERE WE GO!” Romano commented on X.
José Mourinho and Real Madrid have verbally agreed on all conditions; all paperwork needs to be signed.
“After the Real-Bilbao game, JM will travel to Madrid as part of the initial two-year contract.
“The Special One has returned.”
