Before the general elections in 2027, the opposition political parties must demonstrate their ability, according to Sumner Sambo, Director of News and Political Editor at Arise Television.
When Sambo appeared as a guest in an interview on Arise Television’s “Morning Show” on Monday, he said this.
He was discussing the just finished Ekiti State governorship election, in which the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, declared the current governor, Abiodun Oyebanji, the victor.
He asserts that the elections have demonstrated the need for opposition political parties to work hard and demonstrate their ability.
From a political perspective, the opposition’s performance in the Ekiti election was subpar.
