Halle Bailey, the American actress and singer, has received a domestic violence restraining order against her former boyfriend, rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., who is professionally known as DDG.
The judge ordered DDG to keep a distance of at least 100 yards from Bailey and forbade him from making any public comments about her or their child.

The orders were approved despite troubling accusations of mistreatment involving rapper DDG.
In a court document submitted in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the actress from The Little Mermaid claimed that a confrontation with DDG escalated into violence when he arrived to collect their 18-month-old son, Halo, in January.
According to Bailey, the situation turned violent when she attempted to talk to him about a visitation schedule.
According to TMZ, Bailey explained that when she was buckling their son into a car seat, DDG became aggressive and shouting, “Get out of my car, BITCH,” causing the baby to cry.
She further presented a clip where DDG bashed in her ring camera and threw her phone, as well as images of her bruised arm and chipped tooth to the police
recalls that the two lovers broke up in October 2024.
